Dr. Bai Guochao, the founder and CTO of the company, has been deeply involved in the field of robotics for 18 years, and has a PhD in philosophy from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom, a doctorate in engineering jointly trained by North Post/King's College London, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Montreal in Canada and a researcher at Imperial College London.

Extending from the "hand" to the "body"


The end effector is the "last centimeter" for the embodied robot to complete the job and is one of the most complex hardware modules. In view of the differentiated needs of cost, load and accuracy in different application scenarios, Changingtek Robot has long adhered to the principle of combining the sharing of technology base and precise adaptation of scenarios, and built a full-category product matrix, with two-finger or three-finger hands used in highly structured industrial scenarios, and five-finger hands with high bionic function serving unstructured scenarios with strong randomness.


In the second half of 2025, Changingtek Robot will launch the four-finger dexterous hand "Lingsi Hand" using a connecting rod mechanism and an integrated servo solution. The product has 12 joints, 8 active degrees of freedom, and a gripping load of 5kg, which is mainly used in industrial scenarios such as logistics sorting and industrial handling. Its INTEGRATED DRIVE AND CONTROL design simplifies external wiring, offers fast response times and high repeat positioning accuracy, AND is easy to integrate into cobots OR industrial robotic arms.

The five-finger rope-driven dexterous hand "Shu Skillful Hand" released in early 2026 represents another technical path, using a bionic rope drive structure, with 16 joints and 11 active degrees of freedom, and the movement trajectory can surpass that of human hands. The core innovation of Shuqiaoshou is also that it can realize adaptive switching between left and right hands - the same hand can collect left and right hand operation data at the same time, reducing the cost of data collection by half, and significantly improving the training generalization of algorithms, which has been applied to high-end service scenarios such as aerospace, scientific research and education, and medical rehabilitation.

Compared with the same type of manufacturers in the industry, the technical advantages of Changingtek robots in hardware solutions are on the one hand that they are equipped with self-developed under-drive mechanisms, reconfigurable mechanisms and flexible adaptive mechanisms, and the adaptive grasping scheme has obtained a number of invention patents; On the other hand, its self-developed INTEGRATED DRIVE AND CONTROL servo system reduces external wiring AND can improve the reliability of robot hand products, especially for small grippers in small spaces.


On the basis of core components, Changingtek Robot has also launched a two-arm collaborative embodied intelligent robot platform. The platform has a coordinated load of 30kg, an arm span of 850mm, a vertical working range of 0~2200mm, and a three-dimensional environmental perception accuracy of ±0.1mm.

Bai Guochao introduced that Changingtek robots first cut into high-tech barriers such as aerospace, heavy-duty logistics, and power equipment in the early days, and continuously accumulated and polished hardware product capabilities.


For example, in scenarios such as precision weighing, sorting, and pulsating assembly and dismantling of aero engine blades, Changingtek Robot has accumulated a large number of industry-specific high-quality data sets, and then uses these data to feed back model training to further empower products to achieve more generalized operational capabilities, thus forming a positive cycle of hardware, algorithms and applications.

Bai Guochao said that Changingtek Robot's products have undergone rigorous life tests before delivery, such as the "digital hand" used for data collection and pre-training models, which can achieve more than 5 million uses, which is more than 100 times the industry average. Based on long-term accumulation in the supply chain field, the price of Changingtek robot products is only about half of similar products.


With the combination advantage of "industrial-grade quality + cost performance", Changingtek Robot has achieved batch shipments of thousands of sets of products in 2025, with an order revenue of nearly 100 million yuan, and has become the exclusive or core supplier of data collection supporting hardware products for enterprises such as Zhiyuan Robot, Tencent, Huawei, Zhiping, and Ruierman Intelligence.


"In the past, we mainly focused on driving control algorithms and other hardware, but now we pay more attention to the integration of drive control, the iteration of underlying algorithms and the closed loop of data." Dr. Bai Guochao said that at present, Changingtek Robot has formed a closed-loop data capability from data collection hardware, industry data collection to embodied intelligent robot ontology. He believes that when the industry enters the stage of large-scale application, data will become a deeper moat than the hardware itself: "Whoever can run through the closed loop of data in real scenarios will be able to take the lead in the next stage of competition." ”


In addition to the continuous development of mass production products and data collection business, in 2026, Changingtek Robot will also launch a high-degree-of-freedom micro finger joint module to consolidate the core technology foundation. Considering the need for robot datasets and pre-trained models to optimize tactile perception capabilities, Changingtek Robot will also launch dexterous hand products with visual and tactile perception functions to achieve technological breakthroughs in core general operation capabilities.

At the hardware level, the difficulties lie in the optimization of high degrees of freedom, high reliability, output force and control accuracy, and whether the robot hand has high-resolution perception capabilities and can achieve synergy with the brain.
