WAIC 2026 Wraps Up Successfully | Leading Robot Makers Showcase ChangingTek Grippers Across Multiple Real-World Scenarios

At WAIC 2026, leading robot manufacturers used ChangingTek grippers in industrial, commercial-service, and emergency-response demonstrations.

The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) recently concluded successfully. Embodied intelligence was a major highlight of this year’s event, with robot manufacturers presenting a wide range of practical demonstrations.

AgiBot, Humanoid Robot (Shanghai), RealMan Robotics, AI² Robotics, Kepler Robotics, and other brands used ChangingTek grippers in live demonstrations spanning industrial processing, commercial services, special operations, and emergency response. These real-world cases demonstrated the versatility, stability, and precise force-control capabilities of ChangingTek end-effectors.




At WAIC 2026, multiple robot manufacturers demonstrated complete systems equipped with ChangingTek collaborative grippers. AgiBot used the CTAG2F90-D two-finger collaborative gripper, which provides 25 N clamping force, ±0.03 mm repeat positioning accuracy, and a self-weight of 0.8 kg. Its closed-loop control algorithms for speed, position, and force enabled demonstrations including tea preparation and screw tightening.




RealMan Robotics equipped both robot arms and humanoid robots with the CTAG2F90-D two-finger collaborative gripper for claw-machine and tea-making demonstrations. Multi-level adjustable clamping force allowed damage-free handling of objects as different as plush toys and ceramic teacups. Continuous, fault-free operation over extended periods further demonstrated stable and reliable performance.




In commercial service robotics, AI² Robotics used the CTAG2F120-S two-finger collaborative gripper to fully automate the preparation of coffee, ice cream, and other beverages. The gripper delivers 100 N clamping force, a 2.5 kg payload, ±0.03 mm repeat positioning accuracy, and a self-weight of 1.1 kg. It works with cups and utensils made from plastic, metal, ceramic, and other materials. Kepler Robotics also used the CTAG2F90-D to complete an end-to-end coffee-making process.




The broad adoption of ChangingTek collaborative grippers at WAIC is supported by three core technology systems developed in-house: mechanical intelligence, perceptual intelligence, and drive-control intelligence. Together they enable precise closed-loop control of force, position, and speed, with integrated force sensing, drop detection, and fault diagnosis. The grippers are compatible with collaborative robots, humanoid robots, and other complete robot platforms. From industrial loading and unloading and precision assembly to automated beverage service, humanoid-robot interaction, and special emergency operations, robot manufacturers across multiple tracks used ChangingTek collaborative grippers in deployment-oriented demonstrations at WAIC. The exhibits clearly showed compatibility across scenarios and robot platforms. As embodied intelligence moves from prototypes toward scaled deployment, end-effectors are the core components connecting robots with the physical world; their precision, reliability, and ease of integration directly affect the commercial value of complete systems.
