Today, a high-level delegation from the Schaeffler Group visited Changingtek Robotics, where both parties engaged in in-depth discussions spanning fields such as intelligent manufacturing, humanoid robotics, and core components. Following German Chancellor Scholz's successful visit to China last week—during which the two nations committed to deepening cooperation in areas including green transition and intelligent manufacturing—Schaeffler’s special visit, undertaken in its capacity as a global supplier of automotive and industrial products, represents far more than a mere technical exchange at the corporate level; it serves as a concrete manifestation of the deepening cooperation between China and Germany in the realm of high-precision and advanced manufacturing.

The visiting delegation was led by Andreas Schick, COO of the Schaeffler Group, and included Dr. Yilin Zhang, CEO of Schaeffler Greater China; David Kehr, Head of Robotics for the Group; Haitian Sun, Head of Robotics for Greater China; and Boon Siew Han, Head of Robotics for the Asia-Pacific region. On the Zhineng Robotics side, the core team—including Chief Scientist Haoran Li, VP of Sales Xueyin Zhao, VP for the East China Region Jie Wang, Head of Intelligent Robotics Shuangqi Li, and Head of End Effectors Weichun Huang—extended a warm welcome to the visitors. The two parties engaged in discussions regarding potential synergies in robotics R&D and industrial applications.

Notably, among the cooperative documents signed on February 25 under the witness of Chinese and German leaders, the *Agreement between Taicang City and Schaeffler (China) Co., Ltd. regarding the Schaeffler Humanoid Robot Digital-Intelligent Factory* was highlighted as one of the key outcomes. This strategic initiative not only underscores Schaeffler’s strategic direction in the field of humanoid robotics but also provides a deeper industrial context for its recent engagement with Changingtek Robotics. Changingtek Robotics’ core technological strengths—particularly in robotic end-effectors and intelligent control systems—align seamlessly with this initiative, thereby laying a solid foundation for future collaboration between the two parties.

During the tour segment, Changingtek Robotics showcased its latest technological achievements and exemplary application cases in the fields of end-effectors and intelligent robotics. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions covering topics such as core robotic components, the implementation of intelligent manufacturing scenarios, and future industrial collaboration. Schaeffler highly commended Changingtek Robotics for its extensive technical expertise in areas such as end-effectors and intelligent control, expressing its anticipation for deep collaboration on relevant projects in the future.

This high-level exchange has enabled both parties to further clarify their respective technological strengths and areas for synergy. Both sides unanimously affirmed that, by leveraging their respective resources, they will jointly explore pathways for the R&D and industrialization of core robotics technologies. This initiative aims to propel China-Germany cooperation in intelligent manufacturing to a higher level, injecting fresh momentum into the pragmatic collaboration between the two nations in the fields of technological innovation and high-end manufacturing.
