Participants included Zhang Ruoxin (Vice President, BUPT Shaanxi Alumni Association), He Wei (Vice President, UESTC Shaanxi Alumni Association), Wang Yu (Executive Secretary-General, XUPT Shaanxi Alumni Association), Fan Qichang (Secretary-General, GUET Shaanxi Alumni Association), Zhao Xiaolu (Secretary-General, Xidian University Shaanxi Alumni Association), Li Yaping (Secretary-General, UESTC Shaanxi Alumni Association), Cui Qian (Deputy Secretary-General, Xidian University Shaanxi Alumni Association), as well as alumni Liu Zhenzhuo (BUPT), Yan Huaiying (NJUPT), Gong Xuejie, Xiang Wei, and Lu Yunfei (UESTC), Chang Jiawei and Shang Hongbo (Xidian University), and Song Pengbo and Wu Huiting (GUET). Also in attendance were members of the i8 Shaanxi Secretariat—Gao Lixia (Deputy Secretary-General, BUPT Northwest Entrepreneurs Association) and Feng Lei (NJUPT)—along with Tian Zhanyuan and He Ruiming from the Shaanxi Coal Shenzhen Research Institute, and Fan Anxu from China Merchants Bank. Gathering at the Changingtek Robotics Xi'an Division, the group embarked on a profound exchange aimed at fostering alumni collaboration and industrial synergy. The company attached great importance to this visit; Deputy General Manager Xu Yun-dong led the core team in extending a warm welcome to the guests, engaging them in candid and productive discussions.

Mr. Xu provided the attendees with a detailed overview of the company's developmental trajectory, core technologies, product portfolio, and industry application case studies, showcasing Changingtek Robotics' innovative achievements and accumulated practical expertise in the fields of dexterous hands, embodied intelligence robots, and intelligent manufacturing.

Founded by Dr. Bai Guochao—a distinguished alumnus of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and a recipient of a major national talent program award—Changingtek Robotics has, since its inception in 2018, remained steadfastly focused on the R&D and application of high-precision, high-reliability robotic end-effectors and intelligent robotic systems. The company currently holds the designations of "National High-tech Enterprise" and "Specialized, Refined, and New" Enterprise in Jiangsu Province; furthermore, in 2024, it took the lead in establishing the Suzhou Engineering Technology Research Center for Dexterous Hands and Embodied Intelligence Robots, thereby continuing to spearhead technological breakthroughs within the industry. Leveraging its formidable technical prowess, Changingtek Robotics has garnered numerous industry accolades, including being named a "Top 10 Investment & Innovation Star" at the 2025 World Robot Conference and ranking among the "Top 20 Most Investment-Promising Robot Companies" at the 2024 World Robot Conference.

During the interactive session, Mr. Xu highlighted the current status and future strategic layout of the company's three core business segments: First, robotic end-effectors—including products such as multi-payload dexterous hands and electric grippers—which are widely applied across general industrial sectors and embodied AI data acquisition scenarios; second, embodied AI robots, which integrate high-precision control with autonomous decision-making capabilities to serve the high-end manufacturing and intelligent industries; and third, comprehensive smart manufacturing solutions, focusing deeply on high-end sectors such as aerospace to assist clients in achieving intelligent upgrades across scenarios involving flexible assembly, smart inspection, and digital warehousing.

The alumni in attendance highly commended Changingtek Robotics for its accumulated technical expertise and its proven ability to translate technology into practical industrial applications. They also engaged in in-depth discussions regarding potential future synergies in areas such as technical collaboration, industrial matchmaking, and talent cultivation. There was a consensus that, by leveraging the alumni network and industry resources, they could effectively foster the deep integration of the enterprise with local industries. This would not only assist Changingtek Robotics in further expanding its local market presence but also provide a broader practical platform for alumni engaged in innovation and entrepreneurship.

This visit not only deepened the alumni-led enterprises' understanding of Changingtek Robotics but also laid a solid foundation for establishing a regularized mechanism for interaction and fostering collaborative development across industry, academia, research, and application. Changingtek Robotics will continue to uphold an attitude of openness and collaboration, looking forward to joining hands with more alumni enterprises and industry partners to jointly explore innovative pathways in the fields of intelligent manufacturing and embodied AI—thereby empowering industrial upgrading and co-creating a new chapter of development.
